The Celon was a long river in the East Beleriand during the First Age of Middle-earth. The Celon began in the Hill of Himring and flowed southwest between the lands of Estolad and Himlad and went by the borders of Nan Elmoth and Doriath. It was a tributary of the river Aros. Celon – dopływ rzeki Aros, mający swe źródła w okolicach góry Himring, płynący w kierunku płd.-zach. mając na lewym brzegu las Nan Elmoth, i rejon Estolad a na prawym rejon Himladu i las Arthórien. Przed powrotem Ñoldorów w pobliżu mieli swoje obozy orkowie, którzy plądrowali wschodni Beleriand. Później w północnej części strumienia osiedlili się Celegorm i Curufin, podczas gdy na południu były rejony Amroda i Amrasa. Następnie zamieszkali tam ludzie Bëora, a potem Halethy, zanim przenieśli się do lasu Brethil. W końcu po Dagor Bragollach wrócili tam orkowie.
