Kerry was delighted with the though of Kyle living wither her but Kyle's other biological grandmother Faith Dingle wasn't pleased with this and informed Linda about Kerry's fire starting antics and how she had her daughter Amy, Kyle's birth mother, was taken into care due to neglect. Kerry lost her temper threatened to run away with Kyle so Linda was left with no option but to take Kyle into care. Zak and Lisa called Linda back to Wishing Well Cottage the following day as they had decided they wanted Kyle to live with them after all. Linda explained Kyle had been placed with a foster family in Harrogate and the process of getting him back wouldn't be as simple as they thought. She suggested they apply for a temporary parental order but that could get some time, but couldn't guarantee they would get Kyle back. At a hearing a few days later Zak and Lisa managed to get Kyle back.
