Scarecrow Dragons who play together are careful to always do so near water. Dragons love to playfully shoot fire blasts at one another, but this can be dangerous for Scarecrow Dragons, since their straw-like wings are actually flammable.
n32:
The feathers that comprise a Scarecrow Dragon's wings and tail have a stringy, straw-like consistency that makes the dragon very light, but also very dusty. Scarecrow Dragons kick up dust with every step or flap of their wings, causing more cleanly dragons to steer clear.

n36:
Scarecrow Dragons are much more effective than their human counterparts. While human scarecrows do not move , Dragon Scarecrows can chase off foolhardy crows who get too close to their roosts. And with a well-placed fire blast, Scarecrow Dragons can get a toasty snack as well.

Epic Scarecrow Dragons are responsible for keeping birds and pests away from an island's crop, and they take their job very seriously. They not only keep crows away from their island, but duck, geese, pelicans, or any avian life. The presence of a single Scarecrow Dragon can drive away several flocks of birds at a time.
