Clicking on the Social tab in regular mode view, and then clicking Buddies will bring you to the Buddies page. There you will be able to see your score and all your buddies score. You also get notifications when your buddies gets in top100, 50, 25, 10, and 5 Buddies (also referred to as pets) are Animated and other living things which can be summoned by the player. When summoned, the buddy will follow the player around faithfully. The buddies are considered to be collectibles, and therefore are only released for a short time in the store, before being replaced with new buddies. Buddies can be purchased for Gaia Cash at the Back Alley Bargains store or from the Cash Shop. Buddies can be found in 2 different ways: -You can do missions for various people(like the guards in front of the faction offices) -Or find them wounded across Africa in specific locations(like the mountains in the NORTH part of the map with Pala - there is a small burning plane crashed in the cliffs and a buddy lies on the ground next to it, asking you to give him some syretts). Note: Excepting the 'bare' main missions, any buddy missions or buddy suggested alternate main missions, are completely optional, and are not required to further the story in Far Cry 2. In Fantage, your friends are called buddies. There are many things you could do with buddies. You can see how much buddies you have on your buddy list. In Far Cry 2, there are buddies that can help you out. Buddies add more depth to the game — not only will they all tell an interesting back story, but they also provide vital assistance, either by reviving you when you almost die or by suggesting alternate ways to solve main faction missions (help them for Safe House upgrades). They may ask you for help with personal missions (two per buddy). Buddies are quite tough, having 3 times as much health as the normal mercenaries encountered throughout the game. Each buddy carries a preferred weapon which they use throughout the game. Buddies (2007) is a two-minute movie created by Ben Stommes. "Buddies" is the fifth episode of Miami Vice's second season. The episode premiered on November 1, 1985 and repeated on February 7, 1986.

Buddies (2007) is a two-minute movie created by Ben Stommes. Buddies (also referred to as pets) are Animated and other living things which can be summoned by the player. Currently, all buddies do is following the player around and display emotes based on what they are doing, although there are plans of adding other functions to them in the future such as passive buffs. Your best buddy, the buddy you did the most missions with or for, will suggest alternate or additional 'side quests' to the fixed set of main missions that further the story of Far Cry 2. No matter who the best buddy is, these 'side quests', much like the main missions are always the same. The buddy suggesting them will just explain them in a different way, corresponding to his/her character and background. Solving the 'side quests' your best buddy suggests when playing six of the main missions (per District) will yield some quite useful rewards, added to all unlocked Safe Houses: 1. * Vehicle added 2. * Single Syrette health pickup 3. * Full Health Station 4. * Ammo Pile 5. * Fuel Pile 6. * Vehicle-mounted weapon upgraded Your second best buddy hangs out at unlocked Safe Houses (from time to time) offering to save and protect you, should you be fatally wounded. Note that getting saved by the same buddy will increase the 'history' between the both of you. It is thus possible to turn your second best buddy, into your best buddy. Every buddy will ask you for help with some personal mission. There are two such buddy missions per buddy, and are always the same. Just visit the bar in the appropriate District when the map shows the active icon Image:Icon Mike Place active.png. Solving such buddy missions will also further the 'history' between the both of you, making it possible to turn any buddy into your best buddy, not just the first two you encounter. "Buddies" is the fifth episode of Miami Vice's second season. The episode premiered on November 1, 1985 and repeated on February 7, 1986. Buddies have only 3 lives. During the fourth attempt to revive them, the player can only mercy kill them, via syrette overdose or gunshot. You can 'find' buddies by helping them out - saving them from locked-up buildings or rescuing them when exploring the region. You will encounter buddies at several locations in the game: * Buddies usually hang out at Mike's Bar or the Marina Bar, where they will ask you to do personal missions. * The player can find and rescue "foreigners" held captive by the rival faction. If this is not done and the player tries to proceed with the main faction objectives, he will be prompted by the "door guard" to do it. * You will encounter your second-best buddy at Safe Houses, where he/she will offer to help you when severely wounded. * When you take on the main faction missions, your best buddy will give you a phone call requesting you two meet, and if you agree to his/her way of doing the mission, you will encounter him/her in the field, where you will need to defend him/her from enemy attacks. If you do not help them, they will either perish or abandon the player. * A wounded buddy can be found at a hidden crash site of a single engine plane in the northern region of Leboa-Sako. Clicking on the Social tab in regular mode view, and then clicking Buddies will bring you to the Buddies page. There you will be able to see your score and all your buddies score. You also get notifications when your buddies gets in top100, 50, 25, 10, and 5
