Necrophage
rdfs:comment
Necrophage (食屍鬼 (ネクロファジー) Nekurofajī) is a type of Demon related to Astaroth, the King of Rot. The Necrophage is powerful but not invincible. The best way to vanquish a Necrophage is with strategy - blocking, dodging etc. until you can get close enough to kill it - preferbly with an axe or similar weapon. It can be killed by decapitation and dismemberment or any other human killing. The Necrophage can take a lot of punishment however, and often kills those who hunt it down. A Necrophage is a level 2 unit belonging to the race and the faction of Undead. It advances from the Ghoul and advances into the Ghast. Necrophages are in all respects stronger versions of the Ghouls, their lesser cousins. Unlike Ghouls, however, the Necrophages disgusting habit of devouring corpses can revitalize it and imbue it with extra strength. Necrophage (from Greek nekros, 'corpse' and phagein, 'to eat') is a hypernym used to refer to monsters that generally haunt cemeteries and battlefields, places where dead bodies lay, eating the remains. Some, however, have decided they have no qualms about being the ones to fill the area with corpses instead of just being carrion crows. * Ghoul * Alghoul * Graveir * Devourer * Cemetaur The Necrophages are a race of zombie insects from Endless Legends. The Necrophage name is derived from two Greek prefixes, "necro" meaning corpse and "phage," meaning eater, hence detailing the foliage's devastating caustic properties. Like all interactive plants in Borderlands 2, the Necrophage does not register as an enemy, though it can damage Vault Hunters.
