Spartan Cecile Haney was a UNSC Army trooper who fought in the latter portion of the Human-Covenant War. After the end of the war, Cecile was offered a chance to join the SPARTAN-IV Program's second class, which she accepted, training with several other Spartans who would go on to later serve with her. After augmentations, she was assigned to Fireteam Blitzkrieg, led by veteran ODST, Oliver Braun. Blitzkrieg would serve for the next several years, fighting Covenant remnants across the frontier. In late 2558, a new threat known as the Created entered the world and Blitzkrieg was folded into the Office of Naval Intelligence's Special Activities Division's Operational Detachment-Sigma.
