One of the more noteable aspects of this official timeline is that it clearly shows what appears to be a clear extended period of time of 3/4 years (paradox, anachronism or discrepancy) which occurred in the 'canon' between the time the time the hero disappeared from the Lost City, and years later when the Dark Master and Ad Avis actually cast (finished) the spell that brought him to Mordavia. This order of events clearly contrasts with the equally offical alternate Short timeline. This timeline is the basis for the Long timeline (which includes information from all the games). This timeline has been adjusted for historical timing (year 1) rather than astronomical timing (year 0).
