Chris's career began as a senior editor for Rolling Stone magazine in New York, where he worked for 11 years interviewing and writing profiles for celebrities. Because he had always wanted to write for television, he moved to California to take his first job as a writer on Chicago Hope in 1999. Chris Mundy was involved in 22 Cold Case episodes as supervising producer and writer.

Chris Mundy was involved in 22 Cold Case episodes as supervising producer and writer. Chris's career began as a senior editor for Rolling Stone magazine in New York, where he worked for 11 years interviewing and writing profiles for celebrities. Because he had always wanted to write for television, he moved to California to take his first job as a writer on Chicago Hope in 1999. His body of work includes supervising producer on Cold Case, executive story editor on Deadline, co-producer on Chicago Hope, and co-executive producer on Criminal Minds. In May 2007, he signed a two-year deal with ABC Television Studio that will continue his work on Criminal Minds and enable him to develop new projects for the studio.
