Night of Wallachia
rdfs:comment
Night of Wallachia (ワラキアの夜, Warakia no Yoru), originally Zepia Eltnam Oberon (ズェピア・エルトナム・オベローン, Zuepia Erutonamu Oberōn), is the thirteenth Dead Apostle and the ancestor of Sion Eltnam Atlasia. Zepia was a great alchemist, but he ultimately drove himself insane through his predictions, realizing that there was no future in which humanity would not be exterminated, and sought to oppose this law. To this end, he became a Dead Apostle, and through a deal with Altrouge Brunestud and the Crimson Moon, he was transformed into TATARI (タタリ, TATARI), a living phenomenon. In this form, he would appear in pre-calculated areas, given shape and power by the rumors and fears within the community, until the Crimson Moon would finally reappear and return him to his original form. Night of Wallachia (also known by his japanese name, Warachia) is a villain from Tsukihime, and a playable character in Melty Blood, who is the thirteenth of the 27 Dead Apostle Ancestors and the ancestor of Sion Eltnam Atlasia, given that his real name is Zepia Eltnam Oberon. He is very different from the other Dead Apostle Ancestors, as he can't actually be said to currently exist. His nature is that of a phenomenon known as TATARI, derived from Japan's etymology for the word "curse", a recurring event that grants physical shape to the fears and rumors that circulate within a community. This phenomenon first manifested as the image of a vampire that was falsely believed to haunt the province of Wallachia in Romania, Vlad the Impaler, granting him his title. He was voiced by Yasunori Masutani. Night of Wallachia (ワラキアの夜, Warakia no Yoru), originally Zepia Eltnam Oberon (ズェピア・エルトナム・オベローン, Zuepia Erutonamu Oberōn), is the thirteenth Dead Apostle and the ancestor of Sion Eltnam Atlasia.
