Henry Bidgood

Henry Bidgood (c.1809 - 17 April 1878) was a businessman and local politician. Bidgood established a business as a "Manchester warehouseman" and trimming seller at 7 Vigo Street off Regent Street. When the Metropolitan Board of Works was created in January 1856, Bidgood was selected by the Vestry of Westminster St James as their representative, holding the post until he resigned in January 1877. He died at his residence in St John's Wood in April 1878, aged 69. Mention here [1]
