Triad Team, sometimes referred to as Team Triad, was a squad of the Naval Special Warfare Command "SPARTAN" Group Seven, composed of SPARTAN-III commandos as of 2552. The team was composed primarily of special operations snipers that were relieved from the rest of SPARTAN-III Beta Company, and enrolled into Special Warfare Command Group Three, all prior to the Fall of Reach. The team was stationed on Reach at the time of the Battle of Reach, and members were supposedly picked-off from the very start. Even so, the majority of the team's members had in-fact gone MIA, as opposed to having actually been killed in battle.

Triad Team, sometimes referred to as Team Triad, was a squad of the Naval Special Warfare Command "SPARTAN" Group Seven, composed of SPARTAN-III commandos as of 2552. The team was composed primarily of special operations snipers that were relieved from the rest of SPARTAN-III Beta Company, and enrolled into Special Warfare Command Group Three, all prior to the Fall of Reach. The team was stationed on Reach at the time of the Battle of Reach, and members were supposedly picked-off from the very start. Even so, the majority of the team's members had in-fact gone MIA, as opposed to having actually been killed in battle. Upon being indoctrinated into Triad Team, each member's MJOLNIR Mark V armor was scrutinized. Many components were recycled and refit with exclusive technologies, such as compatibility with armor abilities, which was a technology still in its infancy at the time. All helmet VISRs were replaced, and tinted black. This feature was granted almost exclusively to Triad Team members, with some exceptions. Most armors were painted in some sort of camouflage, and additional components were occasionally added for stealth. Each member wore the Triad emblem in order for them to be identified as Triad Team members.
