The Promised Land is a magical dimension in the Makai Realm where the spirits of forgotten objects become living things. It is the central location of the film Garo: Soukoku no Maryu. Kouga Seazima had to travel to the Promised Land to retrieve one of Gajari's body parts, The Fang of Sorrow. Upon his journey, Kouga lost several of the items needed to summon the Garo armor as they became sentient creatures and scattered across the land. Kouga went across this land searching for his mahoui duster coat, the Garoken and Zaruba and to find the Fang. Once someone entered the colony, they were unable to exit, thus protecting the Promised Land's secret. Also known as the Nethersphere, it was supposed to be heaven or some other afterlife where all these people the Doctor let die kept ending up. Although at a distance the Promised Land appears to be a natural paradise, arrivals quickly realise the twisted nature of the island. Unlike the Nether, clocks work fine, but have no use as it is permanently noon. Beds cannot be used or it will cause an explosion, just like in the Nether. Amethyst Ore is scattered throughout the Skystone of the islands, and Celestial Crystal grows similar to Glowstone, by hanging from the underside of the islands.

The vitality-sapped victims of Barbatos hang from the branches of this enormous tree, a punishment for those who fail in service to the plane's dark master. The Promised land is the personal home to the master of Avernus, the Archdevil Barbatos. The Promised Land was a plot point set up in Series 8 of the show. Amethyst Ore is scattered throughout the Skystone of the islands, and Celestial Crystal grows similar to Glowstone, by hanging from the underside of the islands. There are four biomes in the Promised Land: Blessed Bog, Wondrous Woods, Majestic Meadow, and Sublime Shrubland. Vegetation on the surface is determined by biome, although Loftwood Trees, unique to the Promised Land, can be found in most places. No mobs will spawn in the Promised Land, save for birds flying around everywhere, and pixies floating about in the Blessed Bog and Sublime Shrubland.
