Olapet
rdfs:comment
Olapet is a plant-like being, and Green Lantern of Southern Goldstar. A plant life-form, Olapet keeps the seed that will become her daughter in a small sack, looped by rope around her body. At the end of her life cycle, when Olapet wilts away, she passes the ring of power to her daughter, formed as a younger version of herself. The new Olapet would emerge from the sack to take the power ring. She would remove a seed from the top of her mother's body and place that in the sack until the next Olapet was born. So far, there have been twenty three Olapets. Knowledge is passed from mother to daughter. This grants her a form of immortality. One of the most underestimated members of the Green Lanterns Corps, Olapet uses her appearance to induce a false sense of security in her opponents.
