The Plunderbird 5 Minibot was one of several minibots released as merchandise. It was one of the second generation of minibots that did have moving weapons. Plunderbird 5's "Plunderthocker" could move slightly, opening and closing to such a small degree that it wouldn't be able to grapple onto most of the other minibots whilst keeping all of its wheels flat on the surface.

n4:abstract
The Plunderbird 5 Minibot was one of several minibots released as merchandise. It was one of the second generation of minibots that did have moving weapons. Plunderbird 5's "Plunderthocker" could move slightly, opening and closing to such a small degree that it wouldn't be able to grapple onto most of the other minibots whilst keeping all of its wheels flat on the surface. Some details relating to the minibot's design can be considered unrealistic in comparison to the real Plunderbird 5. The Plunderthocker on the minibot is very large, whereas the Plunderthocker took up only a small portion of the robot Plunderbird 5. Additionally, Plunderbird 5 is among the widest of robots, in fact being wider than the robot's length. However, the minibot portrays Plunderbird 5 as being a very slender and thin machine.
