The Feast of the Waters is celebrated in the month of Land's Awakening (in Khul) and Unlocking in Allansia, by many riverside dwellers (e.g. those living alongside the River Tak) who bring out carved symbols and symbolic wheat or rice stalks, offering prayers to the river gods for a heavy and fruitful flood to bring fertility to their land. It is one of the most important celebrations of Rimon and Halak, where it is celebrated yearly, beginning on the 5th of Unlocking. On that occasion, there is a parade of ships around the harbor, races and fireworks. Huge rockets are fired to mark the start of the celebration at evening and its end at dawn.
