Gitak was a Klingon member of Klahb, and in 2379 participated in the attempted takeover of the Federation Embassy on Qo'noS. After Worf was not captured in the initial assault, Gitak and Akor were sent to the second floor to capture him. Upon opening opening the door, they were immediately fired upon by Worf and Gitak was killed by the disruptor fire from the initial shot. (ST novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)
