Hyōga Wire Box
rdfs:comment
The Hyōga Wire Box (氷河針金箱金箱, Hyōga Hariganebako) is a ninja tool used by Hariganejutsu practitioners in Hyōgagakure. It is a rectangular shaped, grey-colored box that is attached to the user's clothing. The inside of the box contains two spools of wire string that are fitted through a hole near the bottom and top of the box (one hole for each spool). These wires are tied to a triangular-shaped clip and are also retractable, allowing them to be used for a wide variety of purpose, such as certain techniques or rappelling. This clip is made of the same material as the wire and allows the wire to be attached to kunai and other items.

The wires inside the box are made of an iron-tungsten alloy, which not only give it a high degree of strength, but also an extremely high melting point, allowing the wires to be heated without loosing their shape. In the event that the user needs to cut the wires, the box contains a small box-cutter made of the same alloy as the wire. To prevent the wire box from falling into enemy hands, each box is outfitted with a jujutsu technique that activates when the box is not opened correctly.
