The Eersteliga (Talmorian for "first league") is the highest football league in Suid-Talmoria. This division consists of 8 clubs, each from different cities across Talmoria. The season is played as a round robin, with each team playing each other twice during the season, once at home and once away. Following the season, the league plays a three round tournament, with each round consisting of one game, with the winner advancing and the loser knock out. The bottom (worst) team is then regulated to the Tweedeliga before the next season, and the winner of the Tweedeliga tournament advancing into the Eersteliga.
