Born in Anchorhead, Tatooine to a pair of poor laborers, Satish learned quickly that life in the desert town was not always friendly or safe. Scrambling from an early age for credits, Satish discovered a simple truth about life: the strongest and the fittest survive. He made a vow that he would be a survivor, no matter what it took. As a child, he was largely self-educated from age 10 onward, making the "real world" his school. Satish worked for anyone who'd pay him - either in credits or information - which set him up for an inevitable "career" as an infochant as an adult. His clients were local law enforcement, the local Hutt gangster, and everyone in-between as it became clear that Besh had a knack for knowledge and information. With his mother's death in his teen years, deemed a factory accident, Satish moved on to Mos Eisley to expand his network and skills. Taking on the role of imports and exports for a past client, he furthered his knowledge of what lay beyond Tatooine by making contacts in other areas of the Outer Rim. It's unknown for how long he remained on Tatooine before expanding his network and influence further.Family Satish's parents had been poor day laborers in Anchorhead, taking on whatever work was available... which was often very little. His younger sister perished in a freak sandstorm, the same which had maimed his father, leaving Satish to step up and take care of his mother as much as possible in his youth.
