The Homeland Naval Service was the name of the Navy of Sivad during the interregnum period from 2978 - 3002. The Homeland Navy was known for its doctrine of small, fast ships of the frigate, corvette, and destroyer classes, and during its existence had no carriers or battleships. Admiral Thelonious Cobb was the Admiral of the Fleet of the Homeland Naval Service during it's entire existence. Prior to 2978, the Homeland Naval Service was known as the Royal Sivadian Navy. Following the Isherwood Restoration it became the Royal Naval Service.
