Walt McCartney (born April 26, 1911) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played 2 games in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens. He was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. He played junior hockey for the Indian Head Bengals in 1926-27 and then played for five seasons for the senior Weyburn Beavers. In 1932-33 he played two scoreless games for the Montreal Canadiens and then finished off the season with the Quebec Castors. He played minor pro hockey in western North America until his first retirement in 1941.
