Fawning Pampal Sarevir Voriel (born -44) is a former Consul of Roam and a chief Dissenter. His father Gigal Sarevir Qualens was the Captain of the Varcian and Adesican Wells during the Crylaltian War, whilst his half-father Blind Otibryal Voriel-Otibryal Candoam was a Consul during the Inachironic War, the first Governor of Scrutany and the Conduit of Voriel. A talented horseman, Fawning Pampal served for six years as an Officer under Moody Machyal Sarevir-Machyal Voriel in Crylalt and Pricia, idolising the general until the start of the Second Civil War, when his husband Vain Varbal Qualens Juctor and his father Vain Prellal Qualens Juctor, the Patriarch of Qualens, fought for Vulgar Renyal Sarevir Juctor and Amussal Barbar Gibruny against him. Fawning Pampal fled Moody Machyal's camp and joined up with his husband and father-in-law at Delebram. When Vain Prellal decided to leave the safety of his walls to fight Moody Machyal, Fawning Pampal beseeched him to reconsider, but was ignored. He fought in the ensuing Battle of Delebram, captured by his old cavalry colleague Proud Machyal Sarevir-Machyal and imprisoned. Moody Machyal pardoned Fawning Pampal after he took charge of Roam and implemented the Tyranny, but he kept a low profile. In the elections immediately following the tyrant's death, Fawning Pampal stood for and was elected as a Bursar, and a few years later was appointed to the Theraclon Well as a Captain. During the Home War he was elected as an Administrator and then as a Marshal. He was elected as Consul four years ago alongside Old Sopenal Straecy Ruess (in his second term), supported by his husband and father-in-law. Under his watch, the Dissenters movement was allowed to flourish, and Vain Varbal Qualens Juctor was elected the following year. Fawning Pampal supports the Dissenters partly out of loyalty to his husband, but mostly out of sympathy with their stated aims of restoring "true" democracy to the Republic, having been traumatised by his initial hero-worship of Moody Machyal. Uvinal Voriel-Cuinsal Sarevir, another chief Dissenter, is married to Fawning Pampal's half-son Constrincal Qualens Sarevir, a current Officer. Another, Rash Donimal Sarevir, the Conduit of Sarevir, is his cousin, as his father's brother's son. He is also a cousin to Scruval Qualens, who is his father's god-brother's half-son, and to Old Degnal Voriel-Otibryal, who is his half-father's brother's son. His son Fawning Parytal Sarevir Qualens is currently serving as an Officer, and is married to Parytal Adesican Candoam, the current Sentinel, who is a useful magisterial authority for the Dissenter cause.
