Throwing dagger Throwing Dagger Throwing Dagger
rdfs:comment
The Throwing Dagger is a dagger item specific to QFG3. Heroes of any class may use them, though the Thief will likely use them the most. A new thief in QFG3 begins with five of them. An imported character with extra daggers will retain them as Throwing Daggers. Curiously, the throwing daggers possessed by a Thief or imported character, which would presumably have been of Spielburgish or Shapeiric make, will be identical in appearance and use to those available for purchase at Fanaka's Fine Weapons, which are made by the Amanra tribe. Throwing Daggers are ranged weapons that are held in one hand. They can be equipped in weapon slots instead of ammunition slots, like darts and throwing axes. They deal 1d4 damage, and have a weight of 1 lb. for each ten daggers, and two can be thrown each round at a range of 30'. They fall under the proficiency of Small Swords in Baldur's Gate and Daggers in the other games. This item appears in Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. Clerics can't use them. Throwing daggers can be bought from weapon stores and some skeletons use them as weapons.

Curiously, the throwing daggers possessed by a Thief or imported character, which would presumably have been of Spielburgish or Shapeiric make, will be identical in appearance and use to those available for purchase at Fanaka's Fine Weapons, which are made by the Amanra tribe. The hero can practice throwing these daggers at the Simbani Village's spear-throwing range. Throwing Daggers are ranged weapons that are held in one hand. They can be equipped in weapon slots instead of ammunition slots, like darts and throwing axes.
