The Precursors were a type IV civilization from Halo universe. They are the only known race to have been more technologically advanced than the Forerunners in the Halo Universe, they are most advanced civilization in known history. But even a type IV civilization level does not do justice for their power. * More information can be found at: * * * Los Precursors eran una raza de seres que vivían en la Twilight Cage mucho antes que el Nocturnus Clan fuera llevado allí por Argus. The Precursors, or Ancients, are a collection of cultures and peoples who rose and fell to historical prominence long before the timeframe of the setting. Though the term is usually applied to the human civilization which flourished a mere 1,000 years prior to the onset of the first game, it is gradually revealed that these form the end-point of a long chain of human cultures of lower development (to which many worlds of the games have since been thrown back), some, even before that, who towered over the intermediate cultures (the civilizations of Atlantis, Lemuria and Mu) and a series of pre-human civilizations. The immediate precursor civilization is accountable for the majority of the setting's features and the relics found therein, although aspects of the older matter occasionally appear. The human Precursors and were responsible for the creation of the various zoanthrope races as weapons in their war with the Externals. It is uncertain whether, and by how much, Precursor humanity differed from current humanity not just biologically, but also culturally, but their civilization included since-ascended transhumans. Depending on how distant in the past precursors have to be to be considered as such, Earth IV existed a civilization at war with Aliens. Again, these were no seperate species, but rather a civilization of baseline humans. Earth V conflates the concept with Reptilians. Though the term is not applied to civilizations after the Tribulation, the process of "Precursor-dom" appears to continue in some or all inhabited worlds, but is only explored in Random Kingdom VX2, where the realization of the damning prospect for their own civilization drives the Citadel to its attempt to secure its reign by means of the Iron Giant. The Precursors are an ancient race of ottsels and the central deities of the series' setting. Due to the Precursors being small, rodent-like ottsels, they fabricated a mythos of large, god-like creatures made of Precursor metal, humanoid in stature with insectoid heads, large round eyes, and a proboscis extending below their jaw. This was perceived as the Precursor race for most of history before their discovery by Jak and Daxter towards the later parts of Jak 3, in which they were revealed as ottsels, though still retained the trait of being the "most powerful beings in the universe." Only 3, excluding Lord Deegee, did not go into stasis. Some Fakegees say that they created Pureegee for him to destroy the last forerunner. However, nobody dared to ask Lord deegee. The other three precursors are Vieegee, Crotagee and Cheegee. They are never seen in the game, but they have left items known as "Precursor Tablets" that can be found on all of the colonies. Each of the tablets can be deciphered by Nestor. www.4chan.org Alias No information Origin No information Occupation No information Powers/Skills No information Hobby No information Goals No information Type of Villain No information The "Precursors" are an ancient alien race and creators of the Kaiju that are attempting to wipe out mankind on their behalf. The Precursors seek to conquer and consume Earth, as they have done with countless other planets and civilizations, using their beasts of war, the Kaiju, to eradicate all life on a planet before taking it over. The Precursors are the true main antagonists of the 2013 sci-fi Warner Bros. film, Pacific Rim. The Precursors are the beings that roamed the galaxy thousands of years before the younger civilizations had left their homeworlds. The main precursors (that are known) are the Arnor and the Dread Lords. The Arnor and Dread Lords were created by the Mithrilar to populate the Universe which they had just made. In their creation the Mithrilar decided create a fundamental difference between the Arnor and the Dread Lords, the main difference being that the Arnor understood time and the Dread Lords perceived it. To clarify, an Arnor would be happy to sit and watch a glacier, seeing it slowly change and shape the land as it moved without caring how much time was passing or what was going on in the world around it while a Dread Lord would find the experience completely pointless. Because the Dread Lords were the first beings to comprehend finite existence and see that even though they may not be able to grow old and die, the universe would one day come to an end, they were gripped with a drive to explore, discover and conquer. During this period of expansion the Dread Lords discovered many things, unknown dimensions, parallel universes and even a pocket universe (which ironically, they would later be trapped in.) But the discovery that would have the most effect upon them was the realization that other species had begun to populate the galaxy. This news disturbed the Dread Lords greatly, for where the Arnor saw a new and fascinating subject to study, the Dread Lords saw a threat. What was at first a philosophical difference between the two grew into an all out civil war between the Precursors to decide the fate of the newer races. The Dread Lords innately being the stronger of the two defeated the Arnor in battle after battle, until only the Arnor's homeworld was left. Eager to destroy the last obstacle in the way of them the Dread Lords began their assault on the Arnor homeworld, but this time, the Arnor were ready. For they had learned of the existence of the Dread Lords' pocket universe and constructed a device that would seal the Dread Lords inside. This level of cunning was completely unexpected and the Dread Lords were caught completely offguard and were sucked straight into the pocket universe. The Arnor had achieved victory against the Dread lords but it had cost them dearly. They had become a broken people and at the advent of "Twilight of the Arnor" there is only one known to exist in all of the known universe. The Precusors were a technologically advanced race inhabiting the Milky way galaxy between 100,000 and 150,000 years ago.
