Mikhail Konstantinovich Puteiko (1913 - 21 April 1945) was a Soviet general who was killed in action during the Second World War. He was born near Minsk. He commanded of the 254th Rifle Division, the first Soviet unit to cross River Prut and enter Romania. He died commanding this unit (in the 73rd Rifle Corps of the 52nd Army) during the battle of Bautzen). At the time of his death, he was one of the youngest generals of the Red Army. He is buried in Lviv.
