Zgorth'sth continued his role as an intelligence agent when the Alliance transitioned to the New Republic, serving with the direct successor to the Task Force on Alliance Security, the Department of Threat Assessment. The Department continued to keep track of possible threats to the security of the New Republic, and one of Zgorth'sth's reports was circulated among high-ranking generals, admirals, and senators.
