Marisol Cartagena is a character portrayed by Onahoua Rodriguez in the ABC crime series Castle. Marisol was the girlfriend of Orlando Costas and mother of his son who appears in the episode "Always". When the duo first meet her, she appears dazed by events, understandably unclear about what all this means for her and her child. She tries to defend Orlando's honor when Beckett asks if he could have slipped back into old habits, meaning the Cazadores , but a $10,000 wire transfer was immediately put to use by Marisol, meaning that she was aware of Orlando's lucrative, and illegal activities.

n22:abstract
Confronted with the evidence when an irate Beckett pulls her back in, this time to the interrogation room, she experiences the full force of questionable justice at Beckett's command, as the detective paints a picture of her son's life on foster care and on the streets, running with the Cazadores. Marissa tells her to "Rot in hell!" (in Spanish), but can't bear the idea, and admits that Orlando took what he said was a "one-off", an extremely well-paying burglary of Captain Montgomery's house to retrieve any files he could find. The fixer communicated with Orlando through a dead drop and in code, so Marisol didn't know any details, but one chance car trip allowed her to see a meeting, which took place in a church. As Beckett resigned from the NYPD as this case ended, it is unknown what might have happened to Marisol and her son, or if Beckett felt any lingering guilt about the methods she used in this instance to obtain information.
