n7:abstract
Jerome Jones was a British radar technician who shared his shift with David Goldfarb Jerome was serving with Goldfarb at Dover when the Race's Conquest Fleet invaded in 1942. As their radar station was destroyed, both were quickly reduced to using binoculars. Jerome accompanied George Bagnall and Ken Embry to Pskov in order to provide the Soviets with a radar and training in how to use it. Shortly after they arrived however, their Lancaster was destroyed and they were stranded there. Jones became a part of a triumvirate with Embry and Bagnall as a moderator for German Lieuenant General Kurt Chill's forces and the local Soviet partisan. Druing this time Jones reluctantly became involved with the Soviet sniper Tatiana Pirogova, before she became interested in George Bagnall and then Georg Schultz. Jones and his fellow Englishmen left Pskov before the truce between the Soviets and Germans broke down at the end of the war. In 1964, Jones, who'd risen high in British society after the Peace of Cairo, came to the aid of his old friend David Goldfarb, who was having trouble emigrating to Canada. Jones used his connections to secure Goldfarb and his family safe passage out of Great Britain. His messages to Goldfarb during this period implied that he was in the ginger trade.
