Carnoustie Panmure Youth FC are a Scottish Youth FA club from the town of Carnoustie, Angus. Formed in 1979, they are nicknamed the Young Gowfers due to the town's well-established links to the sport of golf ("gowf" in Scots). Many of the older players refer to themselves as the Panny Army. They play their matches at Pitskelly Park and Carlogie Park. Following a large investment in coaching training and equipment the club was awarded SFA Quality Mark Development Status in 2011 and is currently working towards Community Status. In 2012 the club formed the Carnoustie Panmure Football Academy for boys and girls aged 5 to 8 years to train and play in small sided games The club currently has seven teams playing in the Dundee & District Youth FA leagues.
