Folkmob is a folk club which meets at the historic Tudor Barn in Eltham South East London. It was started by local musician Dave Kenningham. It is provides an outlet for local people to enjoy performing and listening to traditional and contemporary music. The club has been meeting every Wednesday night at The Tudor Barn since 1996. Greenwich council have recently taken back the lease for the building but have conceded to allow the Folkmob to continue to use the building as they play an important role within the community's culture.
