It allows Sims to sell baked goods made with the Rip Co. Little Baker Oven. It is used in a similar way as a bar, as you can "manage" and "stock" it. You can also set the price for specific items such as vanilla goods, chocolate goods,etc. Your Sims are better off taking all their cakes and The Baker's Half-Dozen Stand to Central Park (or a popular place if not in Sunset Valley). If your Sims leave the stand, other children could come and steal the money. An adult would then come and lecture them, but your Sim has no chance of getting the money back.
