This enemy has a decent range, making it difficult for most ranged characters to kill without taking damage, unless range increasing methods (such as STR for Snipers and Magicians) are used to outrange it. However, since they move slowly and their projectiles fly in an arch, it is relatively easier for melee characters to take down. On their own, they aren't that much of a threat, but in groups, combined with the other enemies of Grassland 4, they can be a real nuisance. A Boxer with a Fire Glove 1 and/or a Sniper with a Double Arrow 1 with 5 STR or higher can easily take out this enemy. Ice and Poison type weapons work as well.
