Reginald "Teddy" Snyder is one of the creators that made Theodore Too. He purchased Snyder's Shipyard (which had been Leary's Shipyard since 1876) in 1944, and it has remained in the family since then. One of Snyder's first assignments was a major repair job on a barque called the Sampson, which was built in Norway in 1885 and was used by Admiral Byrd in the Antarctic.
