Illusionist Illusionist Illusionist Illusionist
rdfs:comment
The Illusionist focuses on Chaos Magic to hunt down and trap his opponents, and backs his magic up with stunning Hammer blows. He is a master at Weakening foes and finishing them off quickly. The Illusionist excels at doing high damage to a single target. He can avoid damage by being maneuverable and by Impairing his enemies, but must defeat them rapidly as he lacks defensive abilities and the staying power for a long fight. An illusionist was a mancer who practiced the Art of illusion. Illusions were a frequently used branch of the Secret Art, however, very few ever became master illusionists. The Faellem were widely known for their mastery of illusion and other powers of the mind. Faelamor was widely considered the most powerful illusionist in the history of the Three Worlds, and was known to be able to use illusions so powerful that she could easily drive anyone insane. Hedge-Wizard, Finger-Wagger, Charletain, Dalaran Dropout. Most Illusionists pick up at least one of these names during their career for the path of Illusion is a much maligned one. Where Sorcerers and Wizards create Illusory copies of themselves and slip intermittently between realms appearing invisible to anyone without magical aid, Illusionists dazzle enemies with imaginary lights and make themselves semi-transparant. Not much of a comparison really, until you get right down to the whole point of Illusions, to make the caster difficult to detect and to confuse foes, an Illusionist possesses a capability to vanish from sight and stay hidden until they choose to reveal themselves or are detected by other magical, olfactory or aural means. But know this, to be an Illusionist means to fade i Illusionists are a sub-group of Wizards, specialising in confusing magics that deceive the senses. Apart from the kind of spells they may cast, there is little to choose between ordinary Wizards and Illusionists - at least in the minds of the people. Once a teacher has been found, the character must undergo a training period of 1D3+1 months. At the end of this time, the character expends 200 EPs and is considered a 1st level Illusionist, able to cast any Illusionist spells successfully learned from the teacher. The Spellbinder is a weaver of mental imagery and horrors specializing in skills that confuse her foes. She can plunder the minds of those foolish enough to stand in her path and has the capability to invade private thoughts in order to use the victim's own fears and weaknesses against them. One of the least played characters in the game at the moment, due to her under-estimationlol An illusionist is a wizard specializing in illusion magic. Illusion spells create false images and other sensory tricks. Illusionists can make ghostly sounds to distract opponents, conjure visionary beasts, or create a wall that does not actually exist. Illusionists are a specialty Wizard class. Illusionists write their spells in a secret language called Ruathlek. Illusionist is a pirate on the Sage Ocean. Illusionist is a Wizard passive ability, unlocked at character level 27. Cooldowns of Archon variants of Teleport and Slow Time are not reset by Illusionist. There is no limit on how often the cooldowns can be reset. In general real-life terms, an "illusionist" usually refers to sleight-of-hand masters who use their skills to illude audiences and bewilder skeptics. However, when using the term in BZPB, it refers to a mage who strictly specializes in controlling the senses of others to confuse them and gain an edge in battle. One is Tiresias. He is first found in Farglow, and later in your Battle Tower. In Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance, Chanelle at Chez Chanelle on Lanilor Lane is also an illusionist.

An illusionist is a wizard specializing in illusion magic. Illusionists are a sub-group of Wizards, specialising in confusing magics that deceive the senses. Apart from the kind of spells they may cast, there is little to choose between ordinary Wizards and Illusionists - at least in the minds of the people. Finding a teacher of Illusionist magic is relatively easy (in comparison to Daemonologist, Elementalists, and Necromancers). However, it is the nature fo Illusionist magic to deceive and the activities of some less-than-scrupulous Illusionists have produced a general feeling of unease and mistrust towards them in the populace at large. Accordingly, most Illusionists fall into one of two categories - the secretive and the open. The former do not advertise their activities and keep themselves very much to themselves. The latter try to ease the people's fears by always behaving in an exemplary fashion. Thus, characters wishing to become Illusionists will either have to convince a teacher of their moral rectitude or spend a considerable amount of time and effort (not to mention money) seeking out the sort of Illusionist who will teach anyone. Once a teacher has been found, the character must undergo a training period of 1D3+1 months. At the end of this time, the character expends 200 EPs and is considered a 1st level Illusionist, able to cast any Illusionist spells successfully learned from the teacher. * Arcane Language: Illusionist Magick * Cast Spells: Illusionist Battle Magic Level 1 * Evaluate * Cast Spells: Illusionist Battle Magic Level 2 * Hypnotise * Meditation * Cast Spells: Illusionist Battle Magic Level 3 * Identify Undead * Magical Awareness * Cast Spells: Illusionist Battle Magic Level 4 * Identify Magical Artifact * Manufacture Potions * Manufacture Scrolls * Humans and Elves: +4D4 points per level * Dwarfs and Halflings: +2D4 points per level * Hand Weapon * Wizard's Staff * 10D6 Gold Crowns * Illusionist - of next level * Daemonologist - level 1 * Elementalist - level 1 * Grey Wizard * Light Wizard - level 1 * Necromancer - level 1 * Wizard - level 2 Illusionist is a pirate on the Sage Ocean. One is Tiresias. He is first found in Farglow, and later in your Battle Tower. In Divinity II: Flames of Vengeance, Chanelle at Chez Chanelle on Lanilor Lane is also an illusionist. Against an illusionist of high skill, even the most powerful of wills and the keenest of minds will not win the day - A master illusionist easily surpasses the astutia of his opponents, poking and prying in a strategic manner to discover how to break their defenses. Also, there are a wide variety of different illusions - Ranging from the genjutsu used by shinobi to powerful magic used by sorcerors. Lastly, an illusionist's power is most vividly seen when battling another illusionist. As two combatants limited only by their imagination engage each other in combat, the normal laws of fighting an illusionist are thrown out the window. Akin to a fantasy battling a fantasy, most times, two illusionists are only limited by their abilities to predict, react, and in some cases, how far they're able to bend the laws of perception. The Spellbinder is a weaver of mental imagery and horrors specializing in skills that confuse her foes. She can plunder the minds of those foolish enough to stand in her path and has the capability to invade private thoughts in order to use the victim's own fears and weaknesses against them. But know this, to be an Illusionist means to fade into the background, to be the one who pulls the strings but never seen as the puppeteer. The Illusionist Deck is good for solo play, but especially suited for dungeon groups. The ability to constantly weaken enemies and deal high amounts of damage to monsters nearing death can be invaluable against powerful bosses, who often use their most potent attacks at the end of their lives.
