It has been serialized in Betsucomi from 2002 to 2012. The series went on hiatus in early 2008, but resumed publication in June 2009. It is licensed for an English language release in North America by Viz Media. It was adapted into a 26-episode anime television series which aired from July 3 to December 25, 2006. The series, after several hiatus that it approached, finally ended in its 70th chapter, published back in February 2012. It also counts with a film live action adaptation divided in two parts, the first one with a date for March 17, 2012, and the second having a release on April 21, 2012. In 2005, the manga won the Shogakukan Manga Award for shoujo.
