Cold Damage Cold damage
rdfs:comment
Cold Damage is a type of Physical Damage that is only delivered by the File:Icon Nature.png spell called "Ice Bolt". Cold Damage is similar to basic Physical Damage types (such as Melee Damage) in the way it harms the target: The attacker must make File:Icon ToHit.png rolls to determine how many times it has hit the target, and then the target must make File:Icon ToBlock.png rolls to determine how many hits it managed to block. All unblocked hits are then translated into simple File:Icon Damage.png which is applied to the target, potentially killing one or more of its File:Icon Figure.png . Cold damage is caused by any attack involving cold or ice. It is caused by Water Magic spells, any weapon with a cold damage upgrade, and most Necromantic spells and hex damage. This type of damage is often overlooked in PvP (with fire damage and lightning damage being more feared), so its proper use can surprise an opponent. Cold Damage is a type of damage in Titan Quest. It's corresponding resistance is Cold Resistance. Cold Damage is one of the three Elemental Damage types, with the other two being Lightning Damage and Fire Damage. Cold damage is generally caused by ice and other severe drops in temperature. Spells like ice storm and cone of cold deal cold damage. The damage can be reduced via the feats resist energy and epic energy resistance. Items with cold resistance or cold immunity either reduce or remove cold damage altogether. Freezing Blow Cold Proc: Increases the amount of damage taken by the target. The potency of the debuff is modified by the value of the elemental cold damage of the application weapon and increases base weapon damage for each individual attacker - Duration 6 seconds. The added damage equals 20% of the Weapon Elemental Damage. * A weapon with 30 elemental damage will proc for an added damage of 6% for 6 seconds * A weapon with 60 elemental damage will proc for an added damage of 12% for 6 seconds * A weapon with 90 elemental damage will proc for an added damage of 18% for 6 seconds

All unblocked hits are then translated into simple File:Icon Damage.png which is applied to the target, potentially killing one or more of its File:Icon Figure.png . Cold Damage is considered a sub-type of Magical Damage. This means that it is almost entirely ineffective against targets possessing Magic Immunity. On top of this, Cold Damage is almost always useless against targets possessing Cold Immunity. Cold Damage is a type of damage in Titan Quest. It's corresponding resistance is Cold Resistance.
