Amanda Parsons was a female Human scientist in the 20th century. She was born July 15, 1927, and attended Midwestern University, graduating in 1947. In 1958, Parsons was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics. She was also the author of a seven volume history of women in science. In 1961, she became one of the first scientists to joined Project Hercules, an effort to develop enhanced fusion technology.
