Stormy Buchanan (ストーミ ブチャナン, Suto-mi Buchanan) is the Doctor of the Bear Claw Pirates and the fourth to join their crew. Originally a nurse in the village where she was born, she was arrest for malpractice after "accidently" killing a rich patient who abused little girls. Stormy was set up to be executed with her soon to be captain Knave Dhahaka. After he helped her escape, she agreed to join his crew. Her main form of combat is a array of pill capsules that have various weaponry, viruses, and other effects stored inside them. She first appears in Grand Voyage as the titular character in the Stormy Arc, where she meets with The Marimo Pirates shortly before the resistance's final assault. Despite initially being quite cold and angry at the crew, she slowly warmed up to them, and accepted Knave's offer to join the crew, on the condition that he would defeat Beerus... which he did. Following Dahlia's defeat and the island's gaining of freedom, she set out to sea with them as their doctor and sometimes scientist. Following the disastrous Strong War, as part of the Marimos' two-year training regime, she travelled back to Reverse Mountain to be tutored by Crocus, having been impressed by his medical knowledge the first time the crew passed by. In addition to refining her medical skills, she also trained herself in terms of combat, managing to fully master Chemical Juggling, as well as improve her strength and speed stats, becoming a suprisingly skilled combatant.
