Hiigara is the founding member of the COFR. It consists of many planets forming to create a confederation. {| border="1" align="right" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" style="border:1px solid #7a7a7a; float:right; width:275px; margin:0px 0px 15px 15px; border-collapse:collapse; background:;" class="mobile-ibox" |- !height="32" colspan="2" align="center"| Hiigara |- | colspan="2" style="text-align:center;" | File:Hiigara Remastered.jpg |- !colspan="2"|Astrological Info |- |height="32" width="25%" valign="top"| Region |valign="top"| Inner Rim |- |height="32" width="25%" valign="top"| System |valign="top"| Hiigara System |- |- |height="32" width="25%" valign="top"| Moons |valign="top"| |- !colspan="2"|Society Info |- |height="32" width="25%" valign="top"| Species |valign="top"| |- |height="32" width="25%" valign="top"| System |valign="top"| 6 billion (historically)160 million (current) |- |height="32" width="25%" valign="top"| Affiliations |valign="top"| |- |} Hiigara is an Inner Rim planet that was the original homeworld of the Kushan, formerly indigenous to this world as descendants of the native Hiigarans during the ancient rule of the vast Hiigaran Empire. Upon its capitulation, Hiigara then served as the throne world of the Taiidan Empire during the three millennia to follow in the wake of The Exile. Considered a jewel of a world, Hiigara is remarkably untainted by environmental damage and renowned for its beauty. During many of the major wars in recent history Hiigara was considered the single most important world to hold in the galaxy, partially due to the prestige associated with it (as well as its strategic position near the Galactic Core). Hiigara was the second of at least five planets in its system. It had one natural satellite, known as the Angel Moon.
