This would not last long as the Empire invaded and conquered Manaan in 14 BBY. While Savio and Sho retreated, Sakota could not be rescued as the night before they left, stormtroopers kidnapped her and made it look like Sakota left on her own free will. Sakota was taken to Camp 97 where aliens were kept. In Camp 97, Sakota was subjected to heinous experiments with the express purpose of probing her genome under the name Subject 670. Her tormentor was Dr. Anakin Walkherd. Five days and four nights after arriving at Camp 97, Sakota died and her body was cremated.
