It is a member of the Trifolium family with an extra leaf, also known as a shamrock (although there is some dispute). This type of clover is supposed to bring good luck to its wearer. It is not, however, the same as a shamrock. The shamrock--the symbol of Ireland and the favorite of leprechauns--is a three-leaf clover, and not the same plant at all. This confusion between the two different plans is so widespread that, evidently, even the leprechauns of Daventry themselves get confused. The four-leaf clover is a sort of talisman given by the Griggs in exchange for the safe return of their sacred cat harness in the Small Problems quest. It allows the mason, Harn to get on with his bridge repairs without having his work destroyed nightly. There is an unofficial 6 player version of this map. A good strategy would be to put a missile launcher behind one of the hills, so it can attack an enemy base without taking artillery/missile damage.
