Before the fall of the Commonwealth, Dragonia Vine was once commonly found on the planet Fountainhead, the birthplace of the Nietzschean race. Dragonia Vines at this time were in relative abundance, until the Battle of Witchhead during the Nietzchean Insurrection, which saw the destruction of Fountainhead by orbital bombardment. As a result, the plant became virtually extinct.
