Jackson Pollock
rdfs:comment
Jackson Pollock was a part-time artist and full-time falling-down drunk. He originated the "Graine de l'homme" painting style, "Graine de l'homme" being French for "Moose diarrhea". Pollock intended his paintings as a drunken joke, and was taken completely by surprise when a bunch of fancy-pants New York art snobs started calling him a genius. He needed beer money, however, so he went along with it and did his best to be somewhat sober during exhibitions. This article is a stub. You can get a Tip of the Hat* from Stephen by adding only truthiness to it.*Tip of the Hat not guaranteed. Stewie Griffin compares his father Peter’s underwear to a Jackson Pollock painting in "Fast Times at Buddy Cianci Jr. High". Pollock appears in "Ocean's Three and a Half" when Peter brags about knowing paint. Paul Jackson Pollock (1912–1956) was an American painter in the abstract expressionist movement. During his lifetime, he enjoyed fame and notoriety, yet was a reclusive artist. After his death at age 44, the Museum of Modern Art has featured retrospectives of his career over various periods of time. Jackson Pollock was an American abstract painter. He was famously known for using a 'drip' techique in his painting, where he poured paint on random spots on the canvas. Pollock was extremely influential in the development of "smmatternist" art, which is part of the general madernist movement away from drawing actual giraffes and towards making randomly colored puddles that represent Giraffes torn asunder by the immense gravity of a neutron star, dripped in green and red paint, which was actually one of Pollock's more well-known pieces. For this sort of meta-artistry, Pollock is rightfully considered to be many things, none of which are good or respectable.

For this sort of meta-artistry, Pollock is rightfully considered to be many things, none of which are good or respectable. Later in life Pollock extended his Smmatternist dabbling into various other fields. The farmers who own these fields promptly told Mr. Pollock to exit their fields, which he did with little incident or fanfare. Jackson Pollock was a part-time artist and full-time falling-down drunk.
