The Department of Biomedical Engineering is an ABET-accredited, highly-ranked department, which benefits from a longstanding and extensive collegial partnership with the world-renowned Washington University School of Medicine. We seek to provide a first-class undergraduate engineering-based education to prepare students for a variety of careers. Our graduate training focuses on cutting-edge research which endeavors to encompass modern, interdisciplinary approaches to advancing basic science with the hope of better understanding, diagnosing and treating human diseases. Washington University used to be an offer for WUPHF.com, but solely for the naming rights for WUPHF (Washington University Public Health Fund). According to a deleted scene, Andy Bernard called it a safety school. So Michael Scott told Andy that the next offer will be from Cornell.
