Zygerrian Zygerrian
rdfs:comment
The Zygerrians were a humanoid species from Zygerria. They built a powerful empire by selling their slaves, until the Jedi of the Old Republic went to war with them and outlawed it. The Zygerrians attempted to openly revive their slave trade when they allied with the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. They were ruled by a monarchy, who was served by the Prime Minister and the Zygerrian royal guard. They patrolled on the backs of flying brezaks and brandished electro-whips to control their slaves. Zygerrians were a humanoid species from Zygerria. They were known to be slavers, traditional for them as they controlled a large slave empire before it was defeated by the Galactic Republic. Some Zygerrians also weaved various beads into their hair for aesthetic purposes. The species' most distinguishing feature, however, was a series of bony spurs that protruded from beneath their skin on the face, giving them a jagged appearance. Most members of the species usually had two larger spurs extending from the chin, and numerous smaller ones that grew along the brow ridge and on other parts of the face, although there were exceptions and some had only the chin spurs or none at all. Additionally, females had fewer spurs than males but had somewhat longer ears. The average Zygerrian was distinguished by their sallow skin and red hair. The ears of both male and female Zygerrians were large and pointed, although the males had a pair of short tusks that protruded from their chins, and were physically much larger than the females. The forehead of the male Zygerrian was studded with small horns, while the females of the species had just two small knobs above their eyes and two smaller knobs on the bridge of the nose. The nose of an average Zygerrian was flat and pig-like in appearance.

Zygerrians were a humanoid species from Zygerria. They were known to be slavers, traditional for them as they controlled a large slave empire before it was defeated by the Galactic Republic. During the Age of the Empire, the Zygerrian MaDall established her own slaving operation, which collapsed when the Mandalorian rebel Sabine Wren freed her slaves. Their ears inspired the hairstyle known as Zygerrian-style faux crests. The hairstyle was sported by Razoo Qin-Fee, a Kanjiklubber who once participated in an underground Zygerrian fighting circuit on Nar Kanji.
