This old parchment is brittle and riddled with holes, so the ancient text remains fragmentary: "... And in their blinded delusion the most passionate followers of Fafnar destroyed the balance between the two suns. They commited sacrilege against Suon, declaring Fafnar the only true goddess. ... fierce battles among the citizens ... causing the downfall of an entire empire ... But in the end Fafnar's disciples ... punished and cursed. The priests who caused this nightmare were transformed into nightmarish creatures themselves. The elite sentinels of Fafnar's temples, called the Burning Gladiators, had to endure eternity as undead warriors. The ogres were slaves in this ancient empire, freed by the downfall ... I'm writing down these insights with my last ... Many of them still here in the ancient ruins ..."
