rdfs:comment
A Quarter note is a note equal to beat in a given measure such as 4/4, 3/4 or Cut Time. It differs from a Half note in that the oval is filled in and does not have a flag found in Eighth and Sixteenth notes. * 1/4 of a Whole note * 1/2 of a Half note * 2 Eighth notes. * 4 Sixteenth notes. * 8 Thirty-Second notes. A Quarter note is a musical notation printed on sheet music used to determine the amount of notes per measure and rhythm of the entire musical composition. Quarter notes are a musical note and always have a beat of a fourth in each measure, hence the name quarter note. Quarter notes also occupies one beat such as in common time where four quarter notes takes up one measure. Depending on the type of time signature printed on sheet music, the amount of quarter notes in each musical can vary from one to another.
