There are three templates about characters names being needed to be proven and/or approved by sources. Two of these are necessary and have their own purpose, but one is unneeded. This template says exactly what this one does, except the latter explains it in a more detailed way, and is more useful. This template has its own purpose; for names that are made up but describe the job or describe the reason for their appearance. As you can see, "Unconfirmed Name" is just a basic and less-descriptive form of "Name." It also covers a lesser amount of articles, as it only covers the name, where "Name" covers the name and their relations with other characters.
