Others said she came from the north, perhaps as far as the ruined Northlands. She was tamed by Nut and Rolo for the DRGN competition and made her nest in their Ring, where she watched over Westwater. They eventually won the contest for their work with Adelind. On 4E:394, Nut reported that Adelind had left her nest on a trajectory towards Summergate, some ten kilometers to the east. However, ancient prophecy passed down through the ages says that dragons return to the place of their birth when daemonic gods begin to consume Dragonhollow. Old veterans who hold to such beliefs insist that Adelind was hatched by Eris in Summergate, explaining why the frost dragon chose to return there. She eventually joined her brethren in Hyperion at the end of the Fourth Era. Adelind survived the Fall of Summergate and made her nest in Blackbourne during the Fifth Era, protecting Sanctuary from danger.
