The Forest Cloak (森の外套; Literally meaning Forest Mantle) was Midori's special cloak that he almost never seen without. Aside from protecting its owner from the elements, when chakra is applied to it, the pattern changes so that it matches the background, allowing the user to hide in almost plain sight. When combined with the Chakra Suppression Technique, it allowed the user to move almost invisibly. Despite requiring chakra to activate the cloak's abilities, the cloak never gave off any trace of chakra, meaning it could not be sensed or be found with Dōjutsu.
